THEATRE: "THE END OF THE RAINBOW"

The last weekend to celebrate the birthday of my husband, attended one of the best plays that, for our taste, currently are being exhibited in Madrid. This is the play "THE END OF THE RAINBOW", played by Natalia Dicenta Rellán Miguel and Javier Mora.

We saw in the second row of the stalls, because since they announced it personally ordered me to book the best tickets possible, and do not want to miss even the smallest detail. And it was. We enjoyed a great time and we love it.

I have to say about that for years, we are admirers of Natalia Dicenta, not only as an actress, but also as a singer, a facet unknown to many people.

still remember the first time I attended one of his concerts at the Café Central, several years ago, where one to one beat out several well-known songs from jazz, to those who managed to touch us all those who were gathered there, the experience was very nice and intimate as the room is quite small. It was also his mother, the great actress Lola Herrera, as a spectator, never taking his eyes off his daughter, smiling and looking proud mother.

someday might make a post about Natalia Dicenta, because I think it is one of the most versatile actresses in this country and indeed very missed, especially as a singer, as it has a voice quality and records music that has nothing to envy to other major international figures from the likes of Diana Krall and Eliane Elias, whom we are also certainly fans.

Returning to " At the end of the Rainbow " want to emphasize the excellent performance of its three protagonists. I was particularly impressed Miguel Rellán of whom know his invaluable worth as a pianist. Also perfect in his role and UNBEATABLE Javier Mora Natalia Dicenta, who started cheering, with the entire audience on their feet for minutes and minutes.

On the other hand, do not want to forget such important aspects as art director, script, costumes and the magnificent collaboration of musicians located upstage. To all my congratulations go also.

Ultimately @ s friend I inform you that it is a work that, in principle, will be little time poster, so I advise you (if you like theater, music and / or are interested in certain aspects of the late Judy Garland) if your time and economics allow you to see you go. Will not leave disappointed because it is a marvel of function, very dramatic and musical touches (about seven songs in total) so that the way you can see how Natalia Dicenta sings.

I leave a video presentation and a small Deed you urge.

A kiss.

Alicia.

SYNOPSIS
"The End of the Rainbow is a dramatic musical, wildly funny, by a powerful text, shows a woman with a broken heart not lost his sense of humor, and facing the final months of his life in his final concerts with their most memorable songs such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow , For Once in My Life, Get Happy, Come Rain or Come Shine. These are issues that come from the heart of Judy Garland , which are your living will, his last words, your final scream.
The End of the Rainbow is without doubt the BEST SHOW OF MADRID and the best text of the famous playwright Peter Quilter , whose plays have been staged in 24 countries. The play is directed by Eduardo Jorge Bazo and John, and actors represented by the likes of Natalia Dicenta , Miguel Rellán, Javier Mora and Angela Muro as cover. In addition, clothing is provided by the Oscar winner Yvonne Blake, and the scenery is Ana Garay. An unforgettable. "
